Located one block north of the Historic Grain Belt Brewery in Northeast Minneapolis, this former veterinary clinic is currently known as the Food Building and is home to several food-related companies, including:
- Baker’s Field Flour & Bread – this bakery stone-mills locally sourced, single-origin grains using minimal processing to create fresh flour and naturally leavened breads and pastries.
- Red Table Meat Co. – this Italian-style salumeria with distinctly Midwestern roots crafts young, fresh salami, whole muscle cures, and other meats from locally raised hogs.
- Alemar Cheese Co. – this creamery transforms milk from grass-fed Minnesota cows into French-style ripened cheeses like brie, and a portfolio of products including cream cheese and cheese curds.
- Kieran’s Kitchen – this Café, Deli & Market showcases the craft of the Food Building’s in-house artisans and other local, like-minded producers.
